Firefox add-on

I have just found and installed eQuake
Addons for Firefox

The numbers of earthquakes seems to be increasing worldwide.
If you have friends in earthquake zones this application might be worth having.

I have just had my screen wobble for a 5.4 quake in Samoa.
It made me jump - might turn off that feature

On another forum I visit, yanks prevail, and it is rather technical, way above my head at times, so I look, haven't joined.
Today a new thread has started about 'an earthquake swarm' at Yellowstone.
It seems that there is an unusual prevelance of many small quakes at Yellowstone, which are too small to be registered and reported nationally, but are detectable on the monitoring system there.
If anything happens - you read it here first
For those who may not be familiar with the potential problem, I post this

Re: Firefox add-on

I have uninstalled this add on.
It caused running problems and gave me a 'blue screen' shut down twice.
What was interesting was the frequency of earthquakes - very many, every day.
There was a scale 7 quake in Tonga a few days ago which I never saw reported in news anywhere.

Steeljack provided quite a few interesting earthquake links in this thread, if you haven't seen them before.
