Help with ereader

A good friend of mine gave me an ereader when he showed it to me loads of books even a few videos I was most impressed.
However since I've tried to use it all i get is a distorted picture of myself.
I didn't realise it had an inbuilt camera.
But I can't. Access the contents the ereader must be a cheap one it doesn't have A makers name so i can't Google advice. Any one have A similar. Model?
It has a full colour screen about 6" by 4", (colour excellent though focus lousy), it has a cheap looking plastic surround in white, anyone recognise it?

It sounds like a small cheap mirror - are you looking at the back of what you claim is a reader?

(A well thought out wind up maybe)

Age and experience assists me in reading men's minds - just like ebook readers - mechanical and rarely spiritual ;)

Had you not been so quick off the mark, I had planned to let it run for a while, then apologise for the fact that I had been in the bath at the time and had grabbed my shaving mirror by mistake.
:)
