Maybe you know maybe you dont but just to let you know if your xbox was manufactured BEFORE 23 Oct 2003 you will need a new power lead apparently there is a fault on the old one which could make the console set on fire or not function properly.

If you get in touch with xbox at www.xbox.com then go to replacement power leads they will send out a new one you will find the manufacture date on the bottom of the console you will also need the serial number to get your FREE replacement lead.

I got mine it came within the week via royal mail.

You can continue to use the old lead until your new one arrives but make sure when the console is not in use you unplug the power lead.
