can you help me with reaserch
i need to gather reaserch for school i need to find out peoples views on should football teams be promoted into the football league without good enough ground facilities so can you help me and give me your views

Re: can you help me with reaserch
The FA should give a cash injection/loan to teams who have been promoted so that they can upgrade their grounds.

Re: can you help me with reaserch
i mean do you agree with teams going up or do you disagree

Re: can you help me with reaserch
I think they should still be promoted. It's mainly from the Championship to the Premiership that there's a great divide I would imagine. So perhaps they could put in place a system whereby if the grounds weren't up to scratch they had x amount of time to fix it and in the meantime had to play at someone else's grounds for their home games.

Re: can you help me with reaserch
If we're talking about going from Conference to League then same rules should apply. They should still be promoted, or what's the point in playing?

Re: can you help me with reaserch
this may be a bit controversial but i believe teams should not come into the league unless they have a sustainable income to survive, this should be checked out very carefully to save loyal fans heartache in the near future, also grounds should be of a certain standard, however funded,a grant would be great,we certainly don't want another" bradford"no matter how upsetting it may be to fans,

Re: can you help me with reaserch
dont agree with that cashman
because clubs get more fans when they are promoted and therefore get more cash to help extend the stadium I believe that the club should be able to have a stadium what ever the size as long as it holds a reasonable amount of away fans and also the home teams following But i dont see the piont in ground being half empty for example wigan which because they have such a large stadium means they have extra costs such as maintaining it, providing stewards for it and policing it (often contraversial in wigan) this means that the club is more likely to go into administartion which now leads to a 10 point deduction therefore more than likely they get relegated this often taking some of the competetion out of the league as team who are low funduned are more than likely hanging around the bottem The only reason why the FA inforces these rules is then the ground have a higher capacity therefore when large fan bases do come and fill the away end they get a higher take of cash at the end as they get a percentage of the cash made by the attendance |
Re: can you help me with reaserch
john i used to go up stanley when they got4-5000 a match an that was not enough to sustain em addmitted they had the bugbear of a stand they couldn't fill round there necks,an i think the club is run better now financially, but the main point being safety which you didn't mention,

Re: can you help me with reaserch
My personal view is that promotion should relate to the ability of the team not the facilities of their ground, otherwise there is no incentive.
