Now a serious question. Is Stanley a good team. When I was younger a Stanley player used to be our neighbour in Baxenden. He had two adopted kids. But in those days none of us kids including his kids rated Stanley. We were all into Man U or Liverpool

Are Stanley a good team? You even have to ask :) Seriously though, although we're struggling a bit at the moment you really wouldn't recognise the set up now. The attitude of the local kids has changed a lot too, it's brilliant to see so many wearing shirts, scarves etc around town. What was the name of the player you lived near to by the way?

Sorry I can't remember, all i know is that both he and his wife were both very nice friendly people
