Re: the REDS go marching on
Me personally think it will be Man.United v 'Dippers' in the final.Just hope everyone behaves over in Athens. What with the sun and beer I do think the inevitable might happen.:(
Wonder how long it is since the 'Bitters' have been there.31 years springs to mind :) |
Re: the REDS go marching on
I think its going to be Chelsea and AC Milan , Chelsea will scab it through with AC Milan Winning United just.

Re: the REDS go marching on

Re: the REDS go marching on
Interesting final at Old Trafford tonight, good to see the Liverpool youth team defeat very easily the manc scum to win the FA Youth Cup and then follow it up with some excellent celebrations on the pitch, tonight mancs we saw the future.

mancie as a liverpool lad i think you should take back your words.me and my family like most liverpool people have worked hard all the time .liverpool had a high unemployment rate because of the docks and mines shutting down and anything big or good going to london or the goverments second city manchester .but i do think the tied is turning and liverpool is becoming a thriving town again what it was when we had docks and mines.you should be a shammed to tarnish all liverpool people with the same brush!!!

Re: the REDS go marching on
One thing I don't understand Mthead, I thought you are now an FCUM supporter, having turned your back on the commercialism & such like that surrounds the 'big' clubs like Man U but you seem to still be supporting them as well as FCUM?????

Anyway davo69 you are wasting your time trying to converse with mancie as the guy is a typical manc always trying to wind people up especially scousers. The best thing is just to say nothing or do what I do and fight back, sometimes even lowering myself to pass a few insults, its all friendly banter and no harm done I think. |

Problem?...who said there was a problem?
It just brings a smile to my face the way you lot go on about Mancs and scousers...when none of you are! Anyway, never mind about that - just make sure you're well psyched up to outsing the Macc lot this afternoon...now they really are scum! And don't forget the chip money for Dave's daughter! :D |
Re: the REDS go marching on
:rofl38: resorting to bribery hehehehehehe new club tactic :rofl38:

Re: the REDS go marching on
Mel, I reckon that as Bagpuss has ninety-two quid burning a hole in his pocket since he missed out on Toddy's shirt on ebay, he can afford to buy chips for all Accywebbers (and their nippers) on the Clayton End this afternoon! :D

CHIPS ARE ON BAGPUSS!!!!!!!! & if extra nice a coke thrown in;) :D |
Re: the REDS go marching on
...tomato sauce on mine please, Bagpuss!

Re: the REDS go marching on
Chips and Coke are bad for your health but Stanley and Lager are good that's why I made the offer to Dave, as for the £92 Mrs Bagpuss has just gone shopping.
Bagpuss True Stanley and Plastic Scouser. |

What really gets my back up are the people who are not Man.Utd fans when things are going wrong all of a sudden find the need to buy one of thier shirts when they smell a bit of success coming thier way,as I noticed walking around Asda on sunday. And this morning all the Liverpool shirts are all of a sudden getting worn. And if I remember Mancie is a Mancunian living in the Smoke. |

Incidentally, well done on FCUM's promotion. I watch their match highlights regularly on Channel M and I've been well impressed. Reckon you'll be celebrating another promotion in a year's time. ...which brings me onto another point. Like all FCUM fans, you're adamant that you still support MUFC and that it's just the owners you don't like. Well, what I want to know is this - imagine the scenario in a few year's time, FCUM are successfully playing in Div 2, meanwhile the Glazers have decided to sell MUFC to more "acceptable" owners. What happens? Would you all just disband FCUM and go back to Old Trafford? Or another scenario that could happen even sooner - FCUM go on a good cup run and are drawn against MUFC - who would you support? I'm not asking these questions because I'm having a go - just curious, that's all! :) |
Re: the REDS go marching on
Hehehehehehe Wynonie now thats a good ponder, knowing mthead he'd support the both & have a flappy backside if the latter happened hehehehehehe be interesting final hehehehe:D

Surely, a club can be a limited company and a fan's trust too? Stockport, Lincoln and a few others are.

http://fcumforum.org.uk/mainforum/te...n_minipost.gifPosted: Thu Apr 26, 2007 9:41 pm Post subject: http://fcumforum.org.uk/mainforum/te...icon_quote.gif It's a rule of the Football League that you can't be a members' club like ours. The reason is because we can't go be put into administration, which they don't want clubs to do anyway http://fcumforum.org.uk/mainforum/im...n_rolleyes.gif Logic and senior football don't go hand in hand do they? Short answer, no we couldn't currently enter the league as an IPS. Let's not have that fight just now, but stick it in the back of your mind that if we don't succeed in encouraging football to change, we'll be scuppered at some point along the way. |

Re: the REDS go marching on
United lost the final because of two reasons.
They didn’t play their normal attacking football and seemed to be terrified of losing. They were only playing with ten men. Well it looked like it because Ronaldo did next to nothing and the bit he did, he did badly. |
