Well ive know doubt that if you read the local papers you will have seen that Blackburn Rovers are trying to sign the American international Brian McBride (i think its Brian).

Does anybody know who this guy is? And more to the point is he any good?

I remember seeing him score on his Everton debut last season against Tottenham but never really hearing of him again.

The Rovers fans at work where not too impressed about the possible signing but I'm more interested in Harry Kewells injury and how long he will be out.

Yeah I must admit that everyone ive spoken to doesnt seem inspired by the possible signing.

But Souness has a good record in the transfer market although every now and again he does throw up a clanger - hence Grabbi

Brian McBride??? Seriously? Yeah, he's really good, plays for Fulham at the moment. I was under the impression he'd only just signed for them, though.

Not very consistent, has 1 good game and then 7 stinkers, seems his good games are always just before selection for the national team.

This is the American national team we're talking about. Shouldn't be too hard to get into that.
