Sad to hear alan ball has passed away aged 61!

A sad day indeed for this Evertonian as Alan played a major part in our successful late 60's,early 70's period.We should also remember his contribution to Englands world cup winning side of 66 & as bieng a pioneer in the introduction of the white football boot.A sad & unexpected demise.:(

Over the years i've noticed quite a few in Everton colours knocking around Accy,i've also had a few workmates who are supporters of the peoples club.Home win on saturday,probarbly watch it in the Calder.:)

Very sad to pass away at such a relatively young age.

He'll always be remembered in the history books as the youngest member of the winning World Cup squad of '66.

Sad to hear about the news. I know 2 everton fans and one an old fan who admired alan ball. He started his career at blackpool aswell. Its on north west tonight if anyone wants to watch , right now!
