Tragic news, seems to be happening more often, frightening when u think about it, thoughts go to his family & friends.

Absolutely gutting, in any walk of life, to go to work at that age and not to come home to what must be a relatively young wife/family.

a decent enough player and a nice guy who never forgot his roots...he will be missed by many a football fan.

Just seen this on the news, very sad but I suppose his family can take a little comfort in that at least he went doing what he loved most, how many can say that.

I have to say this knocked me sick when it came up on the news... I know it can't be compared to some horrific tragedy's we hear of but for someone to be so healthy to just collapse and die so suddenly is awful.

My thoughts go to his family, friends, team mates and fans RIP Phil

terrible thing to happen n so unexpected, ya dont expect a sportsman to drop dead, his family must be devastated. my sympathies go out to them. R.I.P.
