Just been watching Arsenal ladies beat Leeds 4-1 in the ladies cup final,and may i say what a visual treat it was too.The football was pretty ordinary & one sided (Arsenal had 40 attempts on goal),mis-kicks galore & no spitting but some of the ladies were quite attractive in their sporty tops & socks.Special mention to Ms (Mrs?) Byrne in the Arsenal goal,who as she had nothing to do for 90 minutes,could have nipped off and done some glamour photo shoots.A full time model she could well be as Arsenal don't appear to need a goalkeeper thy're that good.Also a mention for a few of the outfield players too & also the two Everton ladies in the studio.Today football seemed like it was indeed the beautiful game.

I watch them occasionally, arsenal ladies have long dominated the womens football, always remember a girl at school called rosemary, brilliant footballer, really skilfull, ran rings round lots of the lads, including wayne entwistle who played for Bury, but back then women werent supposed to play football, and there were as far as I know, no womens football teams, the womens internationals were good to watch, plenty of skilfull play without the tantrums of prima donnas, the falling over, rolling about and abusing the ref.
