Laudrup Or Ince
Top Football Mangement Or League 2 Aiming For Europe Or Aiming To Just Stay Up I know which id go for :D |
Re: paul ince
Let's forget about Ince, Michael Laudrup and BLACKBURN ROVERS !!....
It's what is happening with 'THE REDS'.... that really matters.... It really bugs me after witnessing the behaviour of Ince and his sidekick Matthias at the FES last saeson that anyone would choose to waste a posting on this pathetic excuse for a Manager and his assistant !! ( Even though i'm doing just that !) 'WHAT ME WORRY ?'...not about the future of Blackburn Rovers I don't !. |

Re: paul ince
Good news for Rovers that Ray Mathias is coming as well. Ince is just the face to attract and motivate players, it Mathias that does all the tactics and training.

I am fully aware of INCE's persona, and personally I think he is a (insert adjective/noun) of the highest order BUT.... over here he is getting big wraps after his decision yesterday. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk..._the_Olympics/

Re: paul ince
I'm happy enough with the appointment of Ince, okay he hasn't got masses of managerial experience but neither had sparky and he did a great job!
I'm reasonbly optomistic for the new season you have to keep the faith! After saying all of that i am being a bad Rovers fan and not renewing my season ticket,i will try to get to as many games as possible but you will probably see me more at stanley this season. |
Re: paul ince
I'm already enjoying the appointment, let's hope he keeps signing young athletic players at the top of their careers :D

He's talking about replacing Bentley with james mcfadden, never rated him that highly and now this! We don't want to be signing aging players past their best we won't improve from last season if it carries on like this! |

I can't see Robbie Fowler coming to Accrington in whatever capacity...can you? :p |
Re: paul ince
some bitter twisted people, fowler is only on trial to prove his fitness or not, nothing as been signed, some reds are getting as twisted as dingles.
|
Re: paul ince
Seen it mentioned that the Rovers are in talks to sign Pennant from Liverpool, so when Bents goes he'll be a ready made replacement
|
Re: paul ince
Quote:
Pennant hasn't proved himself for me and isn't in the same league as Bentley. We should be aiming for a better class of player than we have so far IMO. |

Seriously though, when this story was on SSN on Friday, one of the lads at work who is a diehard Rovers fan said that if Fowler is gonna be the sort of quality they are going to sign under Paul Ince he'll be switching allegiance to Stanley next season. |

Re: paul ince
I'm starting to worry a wee bit about what lies ahead for the new season!
Offers coming in for Bentley and Warnock,Friedel saying he wants to leave and if somebody comes in for Cruz i worry he may go too. And all i've heard so far in terms of possible signings is Robbie Fowler(past it) and Keith Andrews from MK Dons?! Does Brad know something we don't! |

Re: paul ince
I know but like i said in another thread i'm a constant worrier and always think of the worst case scenario cashy!
I hope everything will be okay but i have a horrible feeling everything is going to go wrong this season! |

Re: paul ince

....If any player want's to go....bon voyage. Bentley, Friedel, Santa Cruz, Warnock............all under contract could be the making of Rovers if they were to sell them. If we are talking 20 million for them that is good business. Let's give Paul his head under the guidance of the chief exec, who is no dummy, and let's see where where the season takes us. Newspaper talk is getting well OTT and 100 million for Kaka and Ronaldo is the overpaid scribes taking the wet out of serious supporters. |
Re: paul ince
Ok i won't worry anymore!
And yes i should count my blessings i'm not a Dingle!! The only thing i will say is that if we do get a bit of money from the sale of those players do you think we can replace them with players of similar or better quality? |

If we are going to lose him then we need the money to buy a quality replacement. You can't have things one way for one and another way for another. |

That is the one thing that is winding me up about Bentley though. We were the club that took a gamble with him, gave him the chance to show what he is all about week in week out when nobody else was prepared to risk it. We made him what he is today and what do we get in return? Sweet F.A. No loyalty, money talks end of. How are clubs like Rovers ever going to really compete in the premier league when any time we have a good player he is off to bigger and better things as soon as somebody comes calling? I have really become disillousioned with football this past few years, especially at the top level and things like this just increase my disdain. I love Rovers but have fallen out of love with the game to an extent and that makes me sad.:( |

Re: paul ince
well big brad is off to villa, just shows what an enormous cock up the board have made by appointing this fool as manager!!! 5 weeks ago brad was saying hes ending his playing days with rovers, ince takes charge and a wk or so later he asks for a transfer, that speaks volumes of what the players think about it IMHO.....
got me thinkin now if the board of dicectors have worked a deal with spurs reg bents and robinson comin the other way otherwise they wouldnt have accepted villas offer...or could the fool use his manc links and sign foster or kuszczak on loan or perm either way, all in all....:enough:.:niet: . :clown: . :pain30: . . :cursing: |
Re: paul ince
the only fool around here raver is YOU. ok when the guys had a run at the job n does nowt fair enough. don't much like him as a person meself, but i will be behind him n the blues till he proves different:rolleyes:.

and im a fool because ??? i expressed MY opinion if YOU dont like it dont respnd to it.....SIMPLE.....and so is the answer !!!! his first bit of business was to sign robbie fowler, his second was to get rid of the best premiership gk consistancy wise !!...we get linked with a lg 1 central mid !!!!....c'mon man smell the coffee, we are becoming a laughing stock !! it extracts the urine when you look at clubs like sunderland, fulham etc and the players they are linked with or bought, ok they have money but so would we if we got rid of the deadwood at ewood:alright: and i think others would say this isnt the way to win over the fans !!! :gooddog: |
