Let's forget about Ince, Michael Laudrup and BLACKBURN ROVERS !!....
It's what is happening with 'THE REDS'.... that really matters....

It really bugs me after witnessing the behaviour of Ince and his sidekick Matthias at the FES last saeson that anyone would choose to waste a posting on this pathetic excuse for a Manager and his assistant !! ( Even though i'm doing just that !)

'WHAT ME WORRY ?'...not about the future of Blackburn Rovers I don't !.

Not bitter, but we have had some bitter experiences with Ince and were just trying to say it as we see it - but as you say time will tell, just don't say we didn't tell you so when you're all calling for his head ;)

I feel the same way, watched the press do live on Sky at noon, and Ince seemed full of beens and reall pleased to be down at Ewood, and can't waitetill July 7th when the lads are back for training. Ince has always been a winner and I can't see that changing any time soon:alright:

This doesn't bode well for me!
He's talking about replacing Bentley with james mcfadden, never rated him that highly and now this!
We don't want to be signing aging players past their best we won't improve from last season if it carries on like this!

Would rather go for Lennon personally.
Pennant hasn't proved himself for me and isn't in the same league as Bentley.
We should be aiming for a better class of player than we have so far IMO.

Considering the Rovers paid less than a million for Bents he will be hard to replace, but I have it from very reliable sorces that there is at least a 25% sell on clause in his contract, I agree Mancie Lennon would be a better opption, which may well happen if Spurs get involved, but at this time in the closed season club are buying the world and his wife according to the press

Seriously though, when this story was on SSN on Friday, one of the lads at work who is a diehard Rovers fan said that if Fowler is gonna be the sort of quality they are going to sign under Paul Ince he'll be switching allegiance to Stanley next season.

Come on Loz.....I have supported Rovers through thick and thin....I remember and watch Brian Douglas and Ronnie Clayton and his brother Eric.....The Dingles and others have taken the micky out of the Rovers for many years but we are still there in the driving seat.
....If any player want's to go....bon voyage.
Bentley, Friedel, Santa Cruz, Warnock............all under contract could be the making of Rovers if they were to sell them.
If we are talking 20 million for them that is good business.
Let's give Paul his head under the guidance of the chief exec, who is no dummy, and let's see where where the season takes us.
Newspaper talk is getting well OTT and 100 million for Kaka and Ronaldo
is the overpaid scribes taking the wet out of serious supporters.

well i reckon bentleys a damn good player, so was brotherston way back, same with both though - not consistent enough, so if they can get 10-15 million for bents its damn good business n yes i think we can get as good or as near as fer less of that.:)

It gets laughable really cashy it seems Spurs offered less for Bents than Villa did and that was only £10 million, yet they are holding United to ransom over Berbathingy, If these clubs want the likes of Bents then they'll have o pay the going rate for an international, or sod off

Definately.
If we are going to lose him then we need the money to buy a quality replacement.

These so called big clubs do Loz, they want top money when selling, but bottom money when buying, if they wanted Bents on the cheap they should have taken the chance when he was with the Gooners, end of

Good point.
That is the one thing that is winding me up about Bentley though.
We were the club that took a gamble with him, gave him the chance to show what he is all about week in week out when nobody else was prepared to risk it.
We made him what he is today and what do we get in return?
Sweet F.A.
No loyalty,money talks end of.
How are clubs like Rovers ever going to really compete in the premier league when any time we have a good player he is off to bigger and better things as soon as somebody comes calling?
I have really become disillousioned with football this past few years, especially at the top level and things like this just increase my disdain.
I love Rovers but have fallen out of love with the game to an extent and that makes me sad.:(

I love Rovers but have fallen out of love with the game to an extent and that makes me sad.:(

don't get disolussioned Loz, just accept thats the way of it,;)there is loyalty about, its just to a lesser degree than used to be. bottom line is its a short career, n having to save/build fer future, what would we do in same situation?its called a "Better Future" ya can't blame players fer wanting that i don't, don't like it, but accept it.

The thing is Loz, the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence, remember all those who have left the so-called smaller clubs for the bright lights big city clubs and things just haven't worked out, Shearer went to Newcastle, but never won another thing, Sutton went to Chelsea and was a disaster, had to go to the two team league to win somethng. Wright-Philips, Duff, Dunny, History tells us that when your a big fish in a small pond life is rosy, but when you go to a club where all the fish are the same size and the pond is a lake, its a different kettle of fish

well big brad is off to villa, just shows what an enormous cock up the board have made by appointing this fool as manager!!! 5 weeks ago brad was saying hes ending his playing days with rovers, ince takes charge and a wk or so later he asks for a transfer, that speaks volumes of what the players think about it IMHO.....

got me thinkin now if the board of dicectors have worked a deal with spurs reg bents and robinson comin the other way otherwise they wouldnt have accepted villas offer...or could the fool use his manc links and sign foster or kuszczak on loan or perm

either way, all in all....:enough:.:niet: . :clown: . :pain30: . . :cursing:

and im a fool because ??? i expressed MY opinion if YOU dont like it dont respnd to it.....SIMPLE.....and so is the answer !!!!

his first bit of business was to sign robbie fowler, his second was to get rid of the best premiership gk consistancy wise !!...we get linked with a lg 1 central mid !!!!....c'mon man smell the coffee, we are becoming a laughing stock !! it extracts the urine when you look at clubs like sunderland, fulham etc and the players they are linked with or bought, ok they have money but so would we if we got rid of the deadwood at ewood:alright:

and i think others would say this isnt the way to win over the fans !!!
