The manager may have more to say to his team than do interviews...Rovers looked run all over for most of the game ..but to score 3 at Old Trafford is in itself a positive for any team....if Ince gets the boot because of tonights result then it's just plain stupid!

agree 100 %,,,,BUT...having watchecd the match, the players did not seem 100 % motivated...to be honest the team doesnt want to play (for ince) and that itself speeks volumes...i dont lke to make comparisons but (tottenham) springs to mind,,,,,,yes we scored 3 @ OT .....BUT...it was the reserves...IF it had been a lg game i dread to think what would have happened....even the faithfull were singing ince out./...but i guess from the comments here im not one of those...even though i was there .....so be it :rolleyes::rolleyes:........:alright:

What happens to Ince is of no consequence, never liked him as a player and he hasn,t done anything to change my opinion since going into management. Personally I would like to see Rovers do well as I have friends and family who support them, the comment which I take exception to is that, because I,m a Stanley fan, I have no understanding of tactics. I have been a Stanley man since the mid 50s, I,ve watched football live and, via T.V., all over the world, I,ve played, coached and refereed so why, because I,m a Stanley supporter, should I have less knowledge than a supporter from any other team? A pretty silly statement in my opinion. Incidentally, I just got back from Cuba and one of the first people I met there came up and shook my hand, she recognized my Stanley shirt, she was a Stanley fan from Little Lever. I guess we,re everywhere eh.

I wear it proudly where ever I am and we were both on holiday in Cuba. Yes I do have other shirts, I have a United one a Rovers one an Everton one and a few England ones. It,s a great way to meet people, they comment on the shirt and soon your drinking a beer or rum with them. But who the heck is Ben Sherman?

It's a well-known fact that Che Guevra was a keen Stanley fan. Despite the rigours of the 1959 revolution, he kept a keen eye on their results in the third division and was hugely disappointed when they were relegated the following season.

Is there any truth that he was going to pop over and sort the fat butcher out, for his part in the Stanley demise:rolleyes::D

Jaysay, remember the Cuban missile crisis in October, 1962, about six months after Stanley had left the league? Che ordered those missiles from Kruschev - he wasn't going to point them towards America. They were, in fact, all going to be targeted on a certain butcher's shop in Burnley! :D

He'd no need to bother with the butches shop, just waited for the next home match and killed two birds with one stone:D:rolleyes:
