Droylsden V Chesterfield

Tonights replay Chestefield winning 2-0, match abandoned due to floodlight failure. I think the FA might have a field day with this one :rofl38::rofl38:

In a round about way the MP may get his way :D

Droylsden won last nights replay but apparently played a suspended player., which means they will be kicked out rather than play the next round against Ipswich.

Was listening to their manager on Sky yesterday dave and it doesn't seem quite that simple, Droylsden were under the impression that the players was suspended for their game on boxing day game, infact had faxed the FA with the details and had got no reply to say otherwise, we'll have to wait and see

The Droylsden manager is just trying it on and finding somebody to pass the buck to, ( by all accounts he is a bit of a nutcase  ). The club can't decide which games their players are suspended for, the FA tell them and it's hardly rocket science. Maybe he should have looked at the FA website :D

As expected Droylsden now thrown out and Chesterfield re-instated.

They ain't giving up without a fight...they've lodged an appeal which is going to be heard on Wednesday. Could mean yet ANOTHER replay in this longest running of cup sagas!

Wonder if they have managed to fill in the appeal forms properly :D

I'd give them 2 chances of overturning the decision, 0.01 % or at best 0.02% ;)
