Keegan was most overrated footballer i ever saw, good 100% n that was it, Beckham was never n icon of mine, should have been thrown out of national side ferever fer that kick that cost us, Shearer was probably the best centre forward i have seen, but a bit of a prima donna, loved him, but none are icons in cashys eyes.

not icons to you and me but you would still have Shearer in your England team.. even so it was not Beckham that lost the game against Argentina.. it was Shearer who punched the defender in the gob when Campbell scored what would have been a winning gaol....Shearer cost us that game not Beckham.

as i watched it pished as a handcart in LLoret De Mar, i will take yer word about shearer punching the defender, though i still maintain we would have done em with 11 men.
