Joey Barton

Just read in the paper that Rovers could be interested in signing Barton. Big Sam took him to Newcastle .WE do not want this THUG . He is an ANIMAL. He should be sacked from fottball and not allowed to play in our leagues. Do you hear me Sam? Anybody but Barton.

It's going to take the commitment of a very good manager to get a professional attitude out of JB. I think he could be a brilliant player, but time is running out.

I agree shaker, he could be great but he`s blown it, had to many chances.

Re: Joey Barton

Not a bad player but gets the red mist to easy, wouldn't like him at Ewood, we get enough stick from the southern journos already, just think what Fat Man Samuel's would make of that:(

Barton is a nutter...but Big Sam has the best record of anyone for buying unruly and sometimes has-beens then getting the best out of em.

Well you can't really argue with that Mancie, Diouf has been a prime example, I didn't like the idea of him coming to Ewood but he's been first class behavior wise, and look how he resurrected Kevin Davieses career at Bolton, but still don't like Barton, think he's got a screw lose

...too right, mate, although Mr C would be on low-alcohol lager.

If Joey the Scally does come, Taggy, (or even if Rovers don't have a game one week), you're always welcome on the Clayton End. :)
