I don't know if I completely agree with this reasoning. There is a difference between having a team with the best talent money can buy, and having the best team.

yes Eric..many teams have spent big money since the Prem was established...before that we had Malcom Allison at Man City trying it on ...but Rovers started it with Fat Jack.. and if there was ever a flash in the pan it was in them days....Chelsea looked the real thing for two seasons by spending over 200 million but now we are level..enuff said. :)

Transfer now in jeopardy. Real Madrid have found out that they are being ripped off and you can buy a big girls blouse for £4 in Primark :)
