I reckon Granny is talking about the funds Rovers had when they bought the league back in 1996..but them days have gone.

Buy the League Mancie, you don't buy it ask your mate Baggpuss or any Leeds or Newcastle supporters, Money is only one of the equations in winning it and remember Rovers did it with a mostly British Team of which the majority were English with just one foreigner Henning Berg. The main ingredient is buying the right players that play for each other, that's why Fergie is so good, he doesn't make to many bad buys

Dissapointing today, following defeats against those easy teams Chelsea & Liverpool we now go and concede a home goal for the first time since March 11th. On the slide I'm afraid

Watching Rovers today I am having second thoughts.
I thought that was the worst performance I have seen for many a year.
I watch Barcelona and relish the brilliant players they have on show and the finished article shines through to almost perfection.
Rovers performance today was like a bunch of untrained schoolboys.
Everton outplayed Rovers every department. Sadly I feel that a complete makeover is needed to restore the Rovers fortunes. We as supporters expect and deserve better than was on offer today.

always been my big fear royboy, whilst big sam did save em last season, his style of football leaves much to be desired IMHO.:(

Re: Going down

from a "neutral" point of view I'd say the worrying thing about Rovers hammering at Goodison is that Everton have been bad this season, but Rovers made em look good!

Re: Going down

They were very poor yesterday, but when your starting every game with one up front what do you expect, We pay £6 million for a striker yet he's never started, if your playing that system and defending like they did, they ain't going anywhere fast
