As a non football fan I am peed off already with all the publicity being given to the bunch of bling adorned fairies who purport to represent England, when in truth, they represent no-one and nothing but their own inflated egos. If past performances are anything to go by, I expect them to fall at the first hurdle!

Not difficult when you get to my age. It just irks me to find that football seems to have taken precedence over just about everything - life and death, even.

It was once said that football wasn't a matter of life and death its much more important than that:D

Guess I've accidentally strayed into the big girls blouse department. Sorry. I'll make my way back to menswear and buy myself another rugby shirt.

There's no tradition of rugby in this area. If you are fed up with the the World Cup now, wait until next June. If you don't like football, then June is probably a good time to go on your holidays.

Have already booked. Incidentally, was in Tenerife during the last world cup and witnessed a number of bars being trashed by so called England supporters and our flight home was delayed for 10-hours because of drunken behaviour at the airport. It's not so much the game that I am against - my criticisms are aimed largely at those idiots who use it as an excuse for barbaric behaviour.

I actually wish the team well. But just you watch the headlines should things go wrong!

I rest my case.
