It's relevant when fans start slagging off what they call "big" clubs and claim they are the ones who play the game as it should be played ..but at the same time whinge about money problems.. it's all kak.. 30yrs ago there could be an argument about "local" teams being skint and claiming it's cos they had to rely on local support and local lads playing for them. there is a top team that for 30yrs have had good players from Lancashire playing for them and still do today.. more than can be said of Rovers, Burnley and Accy Stan. :cool:

that i disagree with having watched rovers youth throughout 80s - early 90s, was plenty of local lads playing, the main differance being, most never made the grade, i put that down to the simple fact, that usually the best sign fer the glamour clubs.;)

to right..and if your's or mine had been picked up then you would want them to play for the big clubs..let's not take things away from the Lanc's lads.. Gerrard, Brown, Neville's, Rooney, Scholes, and even that scouse dog Carrager or whatever.. these are good players from Lancashire and they play for clubs that some people have a problem with.:rolleyes:
