Completely agree cashy. Just imagine if everyone decided to strike when they had a personal issue with their workmate?! Not taking anything away from the problem itself as it must have hit Bridge hard when all this came out. However playing for England is the ultimate honour for any eligible footballer, the professional and manly thing to do would be to work hard to earn a starting spot at the World Cup.

Mind you, maybe Dean Winnard will get his chance now :D

Take it easy shaker:D This was only meant to be light hearted but I agree with both you and cashy, Bridge seems to be courting public sympathy, but dropping out of, what will be his last chance at a world cup is plain stupid really, years ago I can remember playing cricket in the same team as the bloke who broke my marriage up, I just got on with it, I only let the ball slip once when throwing it at the stumps, was a direct hit though:D
