Second place, 3 points behind, wasn't Chantilly but definitely not sour cream. He also had to keep an eye on the European Championship match during the week - of course, you aren't too familiar, nor were you successfull in any way on your only excursion, with that competition;):D

Probably be a plus if the fat lad doesn't play, he can't even trap a ball these days never mind score goals, only 1 so far this season and that was a spot kick:D

Pretty sure we will be contesting the European Championship AGAIN this season. Better to have taken part every year of the Premiership than just be involved once - and failed just once

If I didn't know better Barrie I'd think you typed all that lot out, glad to see you can cut and paste;);):D

Sometimes I let it show that I am a pillock but this wasn't one of them - good old cut and paste. Yes it was twice for the European Championship and once for the European Cup - which are really the same things.
Rovers did quialify once but not sure how far they got - suspect it was not too far:-)))

Bob, you have to be taking the P? - watching the Ryder Cup so haven't bothered with football today.
Still have a real soft spot for the Tangerines, watched them in their heyday and even took "Carry On" there to watch them play Arsenal.
