Never seen any figures regarding ESPN subscribers but Setanta went bust presumably because they didn't have a big enough income - either from advertisers or customers.
I know that ESPN is much bigger but how long will they carry on if not generating adequate income?

ITs part of the Disney corporation Barrie, I think the problems will be when the new TV deals are up for grabs, Sky might just catch a cold;)

Watched Scunthorpe tonight for the first time - great team, great game, great ethics - also managed to watch the Creme de la Creme at the same time:-)))

You have a point there Barrie.. Scunthorpe got on the telly and still had a sell out crowd.. that would not have happend if they had been playing ..umm.. a big team like Rovers :D

It is obviously a conspiracy against La Creme - surely the TV should go for the biggest crowd pullers which certainly is not that team from Liverpool - the red or blue one.;);):D

Well seeing their first 10 matches this season have been on the box on one channel or another and by the end they will have been featured upwards of 40 times, can't see you argument really, irrespective of where they finish in the league they will have feature 10 or more times than any other club:p

Ya Bagpuss I've been scouring the TV Channels to find Mancie's Phantom Liverpool's televised game. it appears he must have seen that Liverpool were playing Sunday and as usual put two and two together and got thirty five, strong stuff that Special Brew Mancie take more water with it:D
