Carlos Tevez

Carlos Tevez wants to leave Manchester City. He misses his little daughters in Argentina.

The club have given him a few days off, so presumably he's on the first flight to Argentina? No, he's gone on holiday with his girlfriend!

You gotta larf.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Very much doubt it's down to that. Tevez is already on £286,000 per week and is the highest paid player in the Premier League.

I think it's a mixture of genuine homesickness and conflicting advice from the people around him. You get the impression that Carlos loves being on the pitch; his work ethic (unlike Balotelli for example) is superb, but as soon as he is off the pitch he seems very unhappy. It's a telling sign that he's been in England for four years and hasn't learnt a word of English.

City ought to hold their ground on the contract, put him in the reserves if necessary (they can afford to keep him there), no player is bigger than any football club.

He can pitch in and start building that extra terracing on the Coppice End, when he's at a lose end.
