Ashley Cole went for a morning's training last week. So what did he take? His training kit? Yes, Trainers and football boots? Of course! Towel, maybe in case he had a shower afterwards? Definitely.

Oh, and he also took a high powered air rifle.....er and he used it to shoot one of the kids there. Okay.

That must be worth at least a 2 year sentence, surely? :confused::confused::confused:

It was hammered into me (with a Bren gun magazine), that you only ever pointed a weapon at anyone if you intended to kill them.
Even an air rifle is on offensive weapon and can kill. Would think that there should be criminal charges.

Yes, Mick Dennis had a right go in the Express - said he had elbowed him at the back of the head - all the pictures etc I have seen showed him holding the side of the head - perhaps that is why Dennis referees schoolboy games.
Not condoning in any way, but surely if it was deliberate the chap would have gone down? My view was that he deliberately tried to block off Rooney, Rooney moved to his left and raised his arm but as they got further apart ,the forearm hit the chaps ear and not his arm/shoulder. Good refereeing, as good as that for the New Zealander who was distracted from the game because of the earthquake.:rolleyes::rolleyes::D

Rooney used his elbow end of story, no ifs no buts he raised his arm in an off ball incident and any decent ref would have shown him an immediate Red Card, except the ref was United Pet Ref Clutterbucket, seem to remember it was the same ref who didn't see a ball hit the back of the net a couple of seasons ago in that game against Spurs, bet the Red Nosed one makes sure he gets a nice Chrissy Pressy every year, got to keep um sweet:rolleyes:

The result of an over inflated ego - he always wanted to be the biggest fish in the pond - which is why he has so few trophys. He always preferred to play in the lower grade teams. Perhaps a good player, may well have been great if he had played with a good team instead of the crap ones like Southampton, Rovers and Newcastle - may I be informed how many trophys did he actually win?:rolleyes::rolleyes::D

Alan shearer was the best English center foward of his era in my opinion, as for big fish small pond, have you forgot he scored 30 goals in 63 games for England not a bad record for a mid table cannon fodder team player:rolleyes::tongueout

Yep sulkin.. from what I can work out that was around 1996.. won another eight prem tiltles since then.. and I recall Shearer was the bloke who elbowed the Argie in the head that got the goal disollowed Campbell scored in the last minutes of our World Cup 1998... Beckham took the stick for that game.. Mary Poppins Shearer!

Still say that Tinker Bell scouse ***** will never be good enough to lace his boots, see Tuesdays effort was the first goal he's scored from outside the box in 3 seasons, Shearer was the complete Centre Forward score from anywhere with either foot or his head, the only place Tinker Bell can guarantee scoring is in a Brothel:alright:
