Beckhams foul...

I dont know if youve all heard this morning but Beckham has admitted that he picked up the yellow card against Wales deliberately!!

He says he went in for two reckless challenges on Ben Thatcher so he would be booked cos he knew he was injured and had fractured his ribs so that he got his suspension out the way whilst he cant play anyway...talk about bringing the game into disrepute!!

Becks has said that he got booked deliberately because he is already on one yellow card and England are facing Azerbaijan on Wednesday so he thought they were one of the weaker sides in the group....

Therefore he would rather miss this game instead of missing the Wales return or the Northern Ireland game but unfortunately got injured in the process.

Me personally would rather Beckham missed the game this Wednesday than either of the battle of britains.......

Supreme goal though eh?!

I've no doubt that this happens a lot, but Beckham is an utter fool for admitting it - should have kept his mouth shut.

But Hughes said today: ``It surprises me that in the reality of a game and the hurly-burly of a game that you can think that clearly. Is it that easy to be that pre-meditated? ``I am sure that no-one went to deliberately hurt anybody - Ben has already said as much - and there was no malice in the challenge.``I don't think it is something that we should get too upset about.''
