Why is so much being made of the dodgy penalty Manchester United conceded yesterday?

No it definitely wasn't a penalty. Rio got to the ball first.

But I've lost count of the number of dodgy penalties that have been given this season, AND the number of stonewall penalties NOT given. What makes yesterday's any different, other than Fergy started wailing about it and United lost two points?

Just get on with it, for heavens sake.

An amazing game, the Toon certainly rode their luck....Fergy should learn to take the rough with the smooth. Not often visitting teams get the decision at OT.

Ya Alan numerous times over a season not just once, but still can't understand why the ref gave it its certainly against the rules at Old Trafford, though shall not give penalties against United ever at OT and as for that offside decision he was only a yard off which is in the permitted rang for any attempt on goal by the ones in red and should have been allowed, no doubt that ref or linesman won't be seen at the theatre of merchandising again this season:D

Tackles like that in the box are always dodgy, simple as, some are given,some aint, fergys doing his pathetic bleating cos they lost 2 pts.
