I was shopping in Thasda when I heard this, thought I had mis-heard, put S.S.N. on when I got home.....

Not many nice blokes in footy, but he was one of them!!!

R.I.P Gary,very tragic and hard to understand why this happened..a fit healthy man with a young family who has always been successful in his career as player and manager.

Heard it on the radio, so checked online.

Lots of comments on news sites, speculating he died in some Michael Hutchence type autoerotic game.

FFS he was only found this morning!

It's just very sad, to have your life ended so young.

He always came across as a sound, genuine bloke.

His family must be heartbroken.

I only heard it when they said there would be a minutes silence prior to the Liverpool v City game, thought I was hearing things, RIP
