I won't be putting a penny into Venky's coffers hassy rvr, sadly due to health problems I can no longer go to Ewood but I certainly wouldn't have renewed my season ticket with these clowns in charge, in fact I was only asked this morning if I wanted the new Rovers shirt for my birthday, NOT A CHANCE, get me a Barca shirt instead or I might invest a few quid in a Stanley Shirt to just to match the other two I have:D

Just reading the Posts and realising that there is a great deal of bitterness between local supporters,
When I lived in the late 50s early 60s in Clayton le moors we had a coach pick us up at the top of Barnes street every Saturday one week it would be Blackburn and the next Burnley with the same people going both times in those days Stanley played home games on Monday evenings so we could go and watch them. I don't think the same applied then.

There is more bitterness fuelled by the media thanthere is by the fans

I agree with you Dave, I have been to the pub when Blackburn has played Burnley and there has been no hassle at all.

More banter between the fans and it were a real laugh TBH.

See L.E.T Rovers posts, Then again maybe its just words and not actions. They will still bus them in to both Derby's why? And seperate them at the game.

Re: so many derbies

No they wont bus them together, health and safty and all that.

Dont get me wrong you can get some fans that will take it further than others but the fans that I have come across enjoy the banter and leave it at that.

Not together but Burnley to Blackburn and visa versa.

It's police hysteria. 90% of both sets of fans will happily walk to a game together. There are many cases where they are neighbours, work together or socialise. I even have customers where families are of 'mixed' race :)

When the police were organising there Gestapo tactics a couple of years ago some fans of both sides were actually discussing walking to each game together, but the police insisted only those travelling on 'official' transport from ground to ground would be sold a ticket.

Totally agree Dave, the only thing is it is that 10% who are complete numpties and unfortunately its those who dictate the policy, very very sad
