So what you saying let him still play for Liverpool at the risk of him doing it again?
Better ban him from all football until the people in white coats say he won't do it again.
And hey Cantona got a longer ban in my opinion for a lesser offence.
*manc wa*k that he was*

Nah i'm saying simply its none of F.I.F.A.s business, club football. thats down to others,as far as i'm aware. Cantona was not done by F.I.F.A, was he?

Send him to the dentist, have the offending weapons removed. The worst he can then be accused of is being a sucker? Because F.I.F.A. are the world governing body, which every club is a member of, they do have power to enforce a complete ban, which in my mind should include a sane bill of health before he is allowed back. Just food for thought.

Re: Luis Suarez.

They should bring Suarez on strapped to a sack truck & make him play wearing a Hannibal Lecter mask! (Seriously though I think his biting habit probably stems from bad behaviour that was not addressed in childhood.)

Why should the scousers not tolerate it - they have done before

It was during a FIFA competition but they also have the final say in anything concerning football. They didn't need to get involved in the Cantona affair as it was dealt with by the FA/Premier League/Club, The Uruguayan FA don't think he has done anything wrong. In my view FIFA should act like the PL - if any appeal is not upheld then the punishment is increased. I do have some sympathy for the scousers:rolleyes: after the way they supported him after his racist episode and later for his biting of another player - egg on face?

An obscene transfer fee - even ignoring his aggressive behaviour. :(

I hope Barcelona have a good dentist...somone who could remove those teeth and give LS dentures...he wouldn't be doing much biting then...well, not without Fixodent.

Hope this don't come back to bite Barcelona.

Yeah, he couldn't stomach scouse anymore.

Roll on August - the scousers without Hannibal, Oh Boy.
Still reckon they were already resigned to losing him this summer despite his protestations that he loved Liverpool and didn't want to play anywhere else and recently signed a new (5 year?) contract.

Hunt 69, Keegan 77, Rush 87, Fowler 2001, Owen 2004, Torres 2011, erm....

They were supposedly "irreplaceable"?

"We go again" indeed..

It is not about the player, it is about the team, no one player is bigger than the team.

Looking forward to the new season, bring it on:cool:
