Welcome In 2011, Landmark East purchased George Best's family home in order to preserve the legacy of the East Belfast legend. After an extensive renovation project, the family home is now available to rent for 1 - 14 nights for visitors to experience life for George when he left to join Manchester United in 1963. There are some myths about Moyes which the press like to repeat. 1. he gives kids a chance. This is simply not true, many evertonians will tell you he stifles the progress of youngsters and only plays them out of neccesity. 2. he plays good football. The 10 years of football at everton has been boring, predictable and very defensive. He is the manager who would rather take a point than risk getting beat. I and many others can not see how he fits with Uniteds attacking philosophy. 3. he is a good tactician. He is a negative manager, and the press foolishly interpretate making a team hard to beat as being good tactically. He struggles to change a game, his plan B is always to hit it long to a target man and he is very stubborn, often to his own cost. I dont expect he will be at United in 12-18 months and I would love to know if you can put a bet on United finishing outside the top 4? |

there are bookies who will give odds on that, but if it looks anything like they will finish outside the top 4 at Christmas, that 12-18 months could well be OTT:D |
Re: End of One Era
Just been having a look on Paddy Power website, they're offering 500/1 against Howard Webb becoming next permanent manager of MUFC. After all the spouting jaysay and the scouse contingent do they'll no doubt be putting a tenner on.:D:D
