They've had problems for a while now sadly. It's a good stadium & handy for my Sister & her Fella when we take their kidlins to see the Footy. Even spent a night at the De Vere Hotel, which is within the complex (by the family area) & looks out over the seating & pitch. :)

The talk is about playing at the Northampton ground "Sixfields" for home games, 30 odd mile away, while they look at building something affordable in Cov for the future.

Agreed, mate, it's always the fans who pay when a club is badly run. However...a little part of me can't help thinking that they're lucky relatively speaking. The club goes into liquidation...but they're still going to be playing in the Football League next season? Wish they'd had them sort of rules in 1962!

Isn't the new Financial Fair Play rules supposed to stop this sort of thing - to ensure that outgoings are no more than the revenue raised?
Not too sure about all of that and whether or not it applies throughout the FL

Aye but who ensures these rules are adhered too? Rules are useless if not enforced.

It'll make no difference, all the big boys are up to thier eyeballs, but because they're big names & in actuality a "Business/Commodity" it'll carry on.

What would be the equivalent for Blackburn, Stanley or Burnley?

Playing home games at Fleetwood?
Would you boycott?
When people debate Coventry in the media, why do they never mention the fact the company who own the stadium use to charge the club a astronomical price to hire the ground.
They believed the club had no other option, how wrong they where.
