Well Done Dingles.
Seems our neighbors with the extra digits have won promotion back to the premier league. With such afflictions i can only say Well Done Dingles.:D

Re: Well Done Dingles.
Very gracious Cashy, will give you a high 6 when I see ya :)

Re: Well Done Dingles.
Promotion brings it's own problems. Bigger better clubs sniffing around your better players, your manager having to dabble in the transfer market. Well done to Eddie Howe for providing a bulk of the squad. Has Dyche got what it takes to move forwards and secure a second season in the top flight?

Re: Well Done Dingles.
The question is really, will the board allow him to try.;)

Re: Well Done Dingles.
Getting a second season is a bonus, it's not expected. :)

Re: Well Done Dingles.
Glad that the Clarets made it ... not to mention that Stanley are probably safe:theband: Finally, some football I can show an interest in ... I'm a Peel Park veteran who can remember the cold wet nights, with decent pies, and rum in my grandad's coffee.:alright: And I remember going to Turf Moor with him too. We used to stand in the enclosure, just by the tunnel. This allowed my very vocal, loud, grandad to hurl abuse at the officials without busting his lungs and straining his vocal cords ... oh, and to advise Potts on strategy:D Sorry for the nostalgic wander.
Congratulations Burnley ... and, hopefully, Stanley! Long live real football! Oh, and real ale:dancedog: |

Well Eric you must have been standing near me and my dad in the enclosure. Now I know who was making all the noise. Great days those. I am thrilled that Burnley are back where they belong. Who knows what will happen next season but this manager is capable of making a good job of it. I think he and the whole club deserve praise for what they have done on a shoestring not like other clubs who have bought their way up the ladder.
At least they do not owe anything. They own the ground and the training ground so there will be plenty of money now to improve the squad. Well done you Clarets. |
Re: Well Done Dingles.
The Burnley manager spent less in the past two years on transfer fees than Man United spent on two weeks wages for Rooney; that is management at it's best.
