Sorry mate but the Rovers hitmen only go after the players who in the eyes of Mr Hughes are the starmen, I don't think McManaman comes into that catagory.

What are we going on about.I would sooner see a football taem go down fighting than watch them play with an attitude of i am not bothered.Football is a contact game and some get contacted more than others.
Actually Bagpuss i do rate Mcmananman as a middle class striker that is still dangerous.

I can remember he scored for Liverpool v Celtic but that was a long time ago when he was a half decent player but I don't remember much after that.

In the 2 minutes Akinbiyi was on he did more than Ian Moore and Branch have done in the last 2 months - still got another 2 good seasons in him :)
