Kite Flying
 

Just wanted to know if there were any other folks on here who are interested in flying or making kites in any way.

I've been flying kites for a few years now and whilst I'm not at "sport" level in Power or Trick flying I have a few low-to-mid range power and stunt kites, as well as a collection of nice looking single liners.

Anyone else out there fly (I ask as the weather has been looking promising today).

Some people fly kites on Heys field Oswaldtwistle near my home.
If you look on Google Earth someone has placed a photo of a kite at the site.
I see kite flying only a few times each summer and there are rarely more than one at a time.
I don't think that it has much of a following in these parts
