Good God, I remember going to Belle View. May I suggest that you place the keyboard, mouse and monitor on the floor along with yourself and a good bottle of blended. Put your feet and lower legs on the chair and try and relax…..Where did you go?

I've got some podium bubbly that you can have, Staggers. You can either imbibe it to take away the pain, or use it as a lotion to rub into the tender areas. :D

I think Wingy may have some photos to go in the gallery.

The track at Colne is absolutely Fantastic....... I know what ya mean Staggers.......it is one heck of a work-out.And sore elbow of the fuel tank ;) I once rolled one of those karts on the hairpin, upside down, neck twisted, petrol running on my head, looking at a kart heading right for me:(
When they got me out, the guy said "you've probably broke ya ribs, I did":( Luckily they were only bruised....
I have not been for years.......this has got me going again..... Arrive and drive SOON :)

Been to Colne and also to Warrington. I was quite good at one stage(Won full race event at Warrington, second at Colne). I was a tad lighter then though! :)

Wingy, any chance of seeing the pics you took at Briercliffe?

Re: go karting!!!!!

I used to organise with work colleagues full events, with several heats, and then the people with more points going through to the final rounds and then the final.

They lasted for either a morning or an afternoon and were always great fun, and even more fun when it was wet. Have you ever tried driving a go-kart in the wet with slick tyres? One wrong move and you end up spinning like a top. The same effect can be achieved while going round a corner and being hit by someone who thinks he's Michael Schumacher, but who in fact is really more like his brother Ralf...

I used to be not too bad - I did an endurance race where we came 3rd, and I was in the final, running second and catching the leader, when they put a stop to the race due to the light failing.

It's weird, but I didn't notice how bad the light was until I stopped - up to that point I could see perfectly, and was most disappointed when they stopped the race.

If you have never raced outdoors, I can't recommend it enough
