2007 FIA Formula One World Championship predctions

Ok with the 2007 season just over 9 weeks away and with the teams starting to show off their new cars (starts with Toyota on friday) who do you think will be F1 Champion this year? Can McLaren offer Alonso a title winning car? Will Reno still be at the top after losing their champion? Or will ferrari just kick ass again (Totally unbiased of course)?

Just seen the poll, I haven't voted because there are a lot of drivers missing, think it might be more of an open race now Schumy's gone!

the williams team to me looks especially weak

red bull racing looks good - esp if they can utilise dc's experience and mw's talent

Re: 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship predctions

On paper it would look like Raikkonen is favourite, he`s certainly got the talent and maybe a car that`s not gonna break down every time he`s about to win. Mewonders if Alonso is stepping in to the same pile of junk for this season. However Schummy is not the only departure at the F word either and other such vital personell maybe a key factor. I would dearly love to see Jenson win it as he`s most certainly the most skilled British driver for a long time, but can Honda give him the car he needs. I think Renault will be lucky with Fishy`s inconsistency and a rookie but they may surprise us. DC will be very lucky but I certainly expect a few high placings and maybe even a race win for Red Bull. Toyota will have a good car but 2 proven inconsistent drivers. Outside of that Lewis Hamilton could give us all a surprise, that would be nice. Good to have four Brits in the running.

So basically what I`m saying is "I don`t flipping well know"
Which for F1 has gotta be a good thing. :D
