The land is over the top of accy but unfortunatly its private land so i can,t give an exact location sorry.

hey sean, the land actually has public footpaths through it, I'm not sure of the laws with mountain bikes and public footpaths but there are so many fantastic places like this around accrington, if you are allowed to cycle on public footpaths then just get yourself a decent map and go a wandering.

It's above Accrington? Must be on or behind the Coppice or opposite direction out to Green Haworth. Looks more Coppice like from my memories of going up there. It has the right kind of grass.

Its another mile or so towards haslingden, quite close to winfields.

I thought Mitchell House reservoir was on the other side of the road (ie on the left heading towards Winfields. These presumably are on the right as Accrington can be seen beyond. We live and learn.

It's quite a while since I was up t'Coppie.

Your right Gobsmacked they are on the other side. These are taken from beyond there,looking over towards Dunnockshaw. Accrington does look surprisingly close!
