Which car do you think is UGLY?
 

Heres my choice, the Renault Megane hatchback

Ugly but fun......
 

(Just like some of the girls I've known)..... We hired a new style Megane as our recce & chase car on last years Killarney Rally of the Lakes. If Gary sung "I see you baby. Shakin your ass!!" Once. He sung it a million times. All the way over Molls Gap. The Healey Pass and round the bay. Mind you. The car stood up to all the abuse so it can't be that bad.

So my candidate for ugliest car probably has to go to the new BMW 7 series. Did the designers forget how to draw curves??

I had a rental megane the other week as well. From the front it looks fine, but the back is the worst thing I have seen for a long time. It may be to try and avoid rear end collisions as knobody wants be be that close to see it???

Anyway.. onto the BMW series 7 - that car is gorgous(spelling?). I assume your talking about the new style one.. wish I could afford one..

The car that I think is the ugliest ever though is them big long horrible citreon things from the 80's I think, can;t remember the name of them but the headlights used to move with your steering!

On a serious note, I think the Ford Ka is awful (Depending on the style and coloour). Ones with body kits and alloys look amazing but the standard ones, well what can you say!?

For me it's a toss-up between the Austin Allegro and the Jaguar XJS, but I'll go for the Jag because at least the Allegro's front matches its rear. I always resisted the "temptation" to buy the XJS (not difficult) and waited for a good XJ 5.3C 2-Dr to turn up. However, the 5.3C's reliability was so bad that . . .well, that's for another topic sometime.

Sorry but I also think the Ford Ka is definitely the uglist. I wouldn't have one if it was given to me. Although, the new Street Ka is alot nicer. My favourite is a Audi TT - if anyone wants to give me one of those that's fine!

Got to agree with you Roy, that 7 series is impressive. Always wanted a 7 series, had two 5's but the new 7 is the one I want!

Got to change my mind about the Megane now, just been looking at the new BMW 1 series, that is just awful, makes a Megane look like a ferrari:rolleyes: whoever designed that want running down with it!

I agree, the XJS was not too bad from the front but I never liked the rear end, especially that D shaped rear window. I had an XJ6 3.6 that was a nice model, well I thought so! pity it was sold to an insurance fraudster who decided to wrap it up with a BM for insurance gain!
