What a sexy sound and when it revs up- gorgeous.

It's a man's thing, I'll bet most women would just call it noise

There's an old thread in the "Nostalgia ain't ..." section. "Old Motor," Post #56 has a pic of my Harley ... it's hibernating right now.;)

I want to buy my first car. What advice can you give for a novice motorist? I have heard that some check VIN number vincheck.expert when purchasing. Why?

possibly come a bit late to help you. however no matter what your age i,d check the actual cost of different cars, makes and models before you actually look to buy anything. do not get your mind set on a certain vehicle if money is short. even knowing a vehicle is in a certain insurance group can be of little help. over 100 quid difference between two popular cars in the same group even for someone like me with years and years of experiance and no claims bonuses behind me. buying a car is the easy part. its the insurance thats the killer.

yes but only the older ones. so much sound deadening in modern cars its hard to hear the sound even with the pedal to the metal. even on tick over stood outside they have not the burble of old.
