Hiya all, right i have a little problem i want to change my avatar but every picture i try to put on it says its too big! pha. i have tried to google for pictures that are the right size but it only comes up with ribbish!

If it’s not an animated gif just a picture then upload it here, in a post and I’ll resize it for you.

If your running xp use the microsoft photo editor, upload a pic you want to use and then click image, then resize, then save, then upload it. This one was twice the size.

This is the right size now, altered the colours a touch as well and sharpened

Just found an easier way to do these avatars if anyone else is interested.
When you post a picture on the forum it always shows a thumbnail of it below your post, the thumbnail version always comes out at 100pix on the longest side, if you right click over this image then save it to your pc you have the picture at the right size. Its not the best way of doing it as some I have tried come out at 3kb (Hornbill pictures) but still look OK at 100pix wide |
