I’m trying to come up with a banner for accyweb that basically says Accyweb, Respect.

Something to make people (hopefully) think before they post. I.e. be friendly to others, Respect the forums they are using and such. No disrespect etc,etc.

That's nicer than the first one.

I wonder if perhaps sometimes people don't intend to offend others but others just misinterpret and take offence. Maybe all it needs is that we all gave each other the benefit of the doubt but I suppose that idea would be harder to fit into a graphic image.

Do you mean me Doug? (Sorry for a bit of a wander here Len.) I've been on half a holiday to Carnforth and off back up there again this morning. We came back home for a flying visit to go somewhere last night.



Where are you going to use that banner Len? Is that background the sky?

Well to be honest I haven’t decided what to do with it yet. I might just drop it in the odd post here and there just to remind every one what Accy-web is all about.
Yes the background it the sky, its supposed to be a stormy sky. lol

Oh I think I'll have a bit of a mess about if I have the time. I'm only back home again on a flying visit at the moment. I'm off again in a couple of days.

Isn't it a bit like Speakers Corner Len? I always thought it was. lol

The NOT speakers corner would put people off making new threads. especialy in the general and anything goes if not other areas.. it doesnt promote a forum so much as practically tells them not to say anything :)

Would an animated gif be OK or does it have to be static? I was just thinking that one would look great if the sparkles sparkled.

I think so, if you can make the sparkles sparkle then have a go.

Way over my head. :idunno:

Maybe a bit to much sharpening of the edges.

Animated gifs.. making animated gifs is real easy.. do a search on google..
