Any questions about the Gallery, then please ask here.

Hopefully in the near future all members will be able to add their photos of our meetings and special events onto this site for all to see.
I think it will be better than having them posted all over the place. This way, they will be kept together and easy to find and not waste space by having them lost in the forums somewhere hardly ever being seen.
Take a look and tell us what you think.

Well, when it gets going members will be able to upload their own photos and give a description of them.

Great idea. Len can I upload my photos from New Zealand in here? I'm going again in March and Mez has asked me to provide commentary like I did with the last lot. Sparky is coming with me this time, so I'm sure he'll have plenty to say..:D

Hi lettie.
It’s ok by me but I’m a little worried about the amount of web space I have on there.
If you can resize them to about 600*500pixels and keep them less than 100Kb before you up load them, I may be able to get quite a few on.
You will have to register first though and if you will upload them into the Accyweb Members Photos Section.

We'll have a few camels and palm trees next year if all goes well. We're off to Tunisia for two blissful kid free weeks.

Well the Photo Gallery is up and running now. Roy has put a link to the site on the top tool bar next to Petz, which should make it easier for everyone to find and use. Also Roy has given me a lot more space to use so we can add a lot more photos.
To be able to upload your photos you will have to register, which is very easy.
Then if you have any old or new photos, in and around Accrington you can simply upload them.
If anyone comes across any problems then post in here and we will try and sort it out.

Yep, still OK Willow, there are no worries with that.
It’s just that if someone has taken the trouble to go out and take photos of particular things such as buildings, streets etc. it would be a shame to have them lost amongst all the posts and hardly ever being seen again. By uploading them to the Gallery they will be much easier to find and view by others. I don’t see why someone cannot put a link into their post that points to a photo they have put in the Gallery. Or even create a thumbnail link to the Gallery.See below.
