Hi Granny
The reason why you and some others can not see the Banners is because you have the Smiley central tool bar installed. By having the toolbar installed it somehow hides the banners from its users.

To stop the banners from appearing in the first place, I would recommend that you install and use Firefox as your Browser instead of your internet explorer.

i've just got jaseyboy to install firefox, and its made the banners appear. i
think that not having the banners is better, as its cant be advertising. sorry for causing bother! so, i have found that in internet explorer i can see no banners, and in firefox i can see them ....

Granny you haven’t caused any bother, any bother at all.
It is Smiley Central being a bit sneaky by inserting its Banners.
Now that you have firefox make a post here and add one or two of their images and we’ll see if it produces Banners.

cant seem to find them on firefox.... ill have another look. its vanished off the toolbar

You will probably have to install Smiley Central again using firefox.
Go a head and re-install.

it will download, but when i go to run it on the desktop, it wont open

I know this is going to be a pain but try rebooting. Turn off your pc and start it up again. Then perhaps firefox will find your existing Smiley Central software.
When it has re started see if you can post here with the animations.

Ok. It looks like you have right clicked the image and copied and pasted the html code for that gif.
Give me a few minutes while I reinstall the software and I’ll tell you what to do.

While using firefox and I want to insert an image. Some times when I left click on the image I want to insert, it doesn’t work. It gives me a choice between e-mail or mobile phone. So what I have to do is click on the “switch editor mode”. By doing this it puts the image of my choice into my post.

that is also true if you select the correct editor mode.

Just as an aside to this. I found that when I copy and pasted from someone elses post the banners didn't come with it.
