Anybody been to the open mic night at the attik ?? any feedback as im thinking of going....Anymore local open mic nights anybody know of?

Nah, been busy doing other acoustic nights in preston, poulton and blackpool.

Jenx in Blackpool, are having an acoustic night every 1st saturday of the month. Me and my mate martyn are doing a lil 20 min ditty.

NEW!! Acoustic Jam Night at the Attic every Wednesday!!

People in the East Lancashire area have been longing for a venue to host a decent acoustic night, thus The Attic, Accrington is pleased to announce that they will be holding a weekly open session on Wednesday nights from 8pm.

The aim is to allow aspiring artists to test out new tunes and meet up with fellow like minded musicians. All are welcome to come down and join in on the fun. There will be FREE sandwiches available to artists as well as drink promotions.
Here are the details :-

• Open - 8pm onwards
• Entrance - FREE
• Equipment -There will be an acoustic guitar available and mics. Performers can bring their own instrument
• Host - Paul Fox
• Booking - First come, first served. Get down early to secure a slot!
• Play time - Depends on numbers, 10/20 mins average

Acoustic night is EVERY Wednesday - Be there!

Yep, been down the last two times. Bit quiet,.as Paul Fox has only just started opening on wednesdays.

Theres 2 mics, an acoustic guitar, and decent PA down there. If you can take a few mates down there it would be a great night. Youngish People, and you can play whatever you want.

Give it a couple of weeks and you'll be fighting to get a slot!

Excellent!! its my 27th Birthday this wednesday. I'll probs be down there for a few jars with the missus :)

I'll be the one doing all the alt-country tunes!

i dont know what i will play yet but be sure you will not know it as i will play my own ;) looking forward as the jam night at stanley street isnt my thing

Rob,. The Attic are hosting a big acoustic showcase night, Wednesday the 29th March, "Acoustic Soup"

Theres going to be 7 other acts.

Would you be up for being put on the bill? I need to get the posters sorted pretty pronto.
