Rhythm Festival

I read in the press over the weekend that 60s rocker Jerry Lee Lewis is making his last solo performances in this country at the Rhythm Festival to be held on August 6th AT Clapham, Bedfordshire. Also appearing are amongst others are Donovan Ike Turner Chas and Dave and rock guitar legend Jimmy Page looks like a good do. More info can be found at

saw the GREAT man play blackpool a couple of years ago (opera house) he was helped onstage by an aid,we thought hell what have we paid for here, as soon he was at his piano everything was forgotten he was absolutely brilliant, word and music, unfortunately he was taken ill and only managed about 25 mins, and had to be helped back to the dressing room, but believe me it was worth every penny, so would say to anyone who is considering the gig and has not seen THE KILLER, GO you will never see his like again.;)

Jerry Lee was a 50s rocker, not a 60s phenomenum. I wonder if he can still get one leg on top of the piano? He must be well into his 70s by now. ;)
