Snow Patrol - Eyes Open ........ Anyone got them? Do you recommend them?

I like the radio stuff from Snow Patrol, at the moment You're All I Have and Chasing Cars but is the rest of the album as awesome as these songs?

I get fed up of wasting money buying an album for a song in the charts then find out the album is a load of crap!

Give Meatloaf a miss. Going off the garbage i've heard off his previous outings this one will be more of the same.And can he not think of a different album title,it's getting like Rocky & Rambo.He too must think people are gullible enough to buy albums(or films) off the title alone.

I'm actually a big Meatloaf fan though, so I probably will end up buying this one. Just hope it doesn't end up in my CD's listed under C for crap :rolleyes:

Yeah I still don't understand what he WON't do................he'll do anything for love, but he won't do that?? :confused::confused: something sexual maybe. Watch his wife in bed with another man?? ............the mind boggles.:D

Thing is I twas a wee bit under the influence at that point, so one sentence was all I could conjure. :rolleyes:
Razorlight have always sounded a bit pompous to me. I just don't get it. Somewhere Else was their decent tune of a couple of years ago but now they've got this epic sound while still trying to remain an indie band & it doesn't sound right to me.
But listen to a few tracks & make up your own mind :)

That is he won't call his albums by any other name than Bat Out Of Hell.And Tinkerbelle,you will be filing it under C for crap so save yer wedge or buy an old album by The Velvet Underground.......or The Fall.Or The Bunnymen.Sorry, how old are you?:cool:

Wifey went to see Meatloaf at Albert Hall and thought he was awesome, have downloaded Bat out of Hel three and if you like Meatloaf its fine if not you'll still think he is crap.

Razorlight's first album was brilliant second not quite as good but.....

If you want a good new album my suggestion is The Killers new one absolutely brilliant.

Don't bother with the Loaf or Razorlight;Loaf is dull [and thats from a fan!]
Get the Snow Patrol and the Killers latest;also new Keane is good but it's a grower rather than instant;same with Scissor Sisters. if you want to listen to something a bit different try to get hold of Patty Griffin's latest cd "Impossible Dream",she has a great voice,a bit Emmy Lou Harris in places but superb lyrics.I think she has a website with clips on...

Forgot to mention the latest Beautiful south offering "Superbi" which is great! Other recommendations from the music Zone posse would be Captain/the Fratellis/Guillemots.
