Well with another year soon upon us what are you looking forward to music wise? Look out for a guy called Mika. If you want to listen now download Mika - Grace Kelly you wont be disapointed. On the albums side you have new ones from Kaiser chiefs and David gray.

Actually Floyd - Brick in the wall was one of my dads favorite tunes. When he died he was cremated and put in the wall of remembrance ..............so yes he is just another Brick in the wall now.....

yes I know I know I have a sad sense of humor - but so did he and he will be finding it funny somewhere LMAO!!! :Banane04:

I wouldnt call it taste but punishment LOL !!!

One will not be converted - ask tinks LOL!!!:D

Re: Music of 2007

I think everyone can be converted to Marillion when caught at the right time. They are certainly an aquired taste, you either get them or you don't!

Still, having said that, not everyone knows class when they hear it!

Is Fish still in the band?

I met him when we supplied some costumes for the film, '9 Dead Gay Guys', which he starred in.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0336910/

We were given tickets for the premiere.

The costumes were great..but the film was one of the worst ever made.

No Fish is no longer with them. Out of the 14 albums that they have he was only on 4!

Whilst they did some good stuff with Fish they are far better now Steve Hogarth is at the helm.

You ought to give their new stuff a listen, you might surprise yourself and like them!

Re: Music of 2007

I think people do have their own versions of class - to me Marillion isnt, in the same genre i much more prefer Simple Minds to Marillion any day, personally its always hard when the frontman leaves the band its never the same & rarely is sucessful or bettered. Fish was Marillion IMHO!

Bad-Wolf 19-02-2007 10:57

Re: Music of 2007

Yes, that is no surprise. Mr Dick's acting requires a little work to put it mildly. He was bad in the Bill as well!!!!!

Don't worry Wolfie I punish mel for her lack of taste in music at every opportunity. I take her out, get her very drunk then fetch her home and tie her to the sofa and play Marillion at her til the wee small hours of the morning ;)

I also, take her out in the car and put them on the stereo and always make sure central locking is on to stop her diving out! :D

Good to have you back chick ;)

You've never mentioned you've met Mr Dick, Rinder Roo
