Radio 1's Big Weekend is coming to Preston!
This is great news for Preston's music-scene.

Previous "Big Weekends" have included Franz Ferdinand, Gnarls Barkley, Keane, Muse, Mylo, Pink, Primal Scream, Razorlight, Sugababes, Foo Fighters, Chemical Brothers, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Destiny's Child, Alicia Keys, Jamiroquai, Basement Jaxx, White Stripes, Stereophonics, The Darkness, Travis, Dido, Ash, Kelis, Faithless, The Streets, Avril Lavigne, Magic Numbers, Kaiser Chiefs, Maximo Park, The Kooks, Hot Chip and more!

There's a slot or 2 available for Preston's best bands; and yes, I am in a Preston band.

If you haven't already heard us, we're an alternative rock/metal band, with hints on jazz, trance, indie and allsorts.

Fortunately, tickets are free!

Unfortunately, you have to sign up to the mailing list on the website (click the big banner in my first post). The Preston postcodes are prioritised for the selection proceedure.

But hey, if you like our music and want to take 30 seconds to recommend us to radio 1, we'd be really grateful.

You just fill in a little form - 30 seconds is all it takes!! :)
