I'm a big fan of Morrissey and I quite like Travis,but this is a total bad attempt of a cover of a Mozza classic:(

At least they're not attempting to release it as a single or anything.

It's not that bad actually. Live is where it should stay though. I've always found recording & releasing other people's songs - especially their lyrics - quite a sinister thing to do.

I might be more annoyed by the Travis version if I liked the song more, but it's not one of my favourites nor one of Morrissey's best in my opinion. If it was a tune from You Are The Quarry it would get a different response...

Yeah pure class,and obviously i hold a soft spot for his tribute track to the Munich disaster,it almost brings a tear to my eyes everytime I here that.
