Prince :- Priceless or Plonker
Surprised there`s no chat about what I consider a remarkable milestone in music history ie the wee fellow giving away his new album FREE in the Paper.
I`m not a big Prince`s music fan or anything (although I do admit he`s a great showman and guitarist) but in my opinion he does all the right things that a star of his stature should. (by that i dont mean short). Changing his name to an unpronouncable symbol to foil his oppressive label was a masterful act and this I believe is equally as cutting edge. I aint got one like so it might be S**T but I`m talking about the Act. Lets have an Argument :D |
Re: Prince :- Priceless or Plonker
We had one - don't know what's happened to it. Not as naff as most newspaper freebies.

Re: Prince :- Priceless or Plonker
Saw him just after change to symbol, looked forward to stuff like Sign 'o' the Times etc, just had a video splurge of Prince stuff then 2 hours of symbol stuff. Not very good.
However that said he is exceptionally talented and anything that annoys record companies is a good thing by me so one up for him. |

Predictably enough, I can't stick his music, but I'm with Stan on this one...if it puts the record companys' noses out of joint, bring it on, brother! :D
